If you have a very busy schedule or allergies to certain products, permanent makeup on your eyes and lips can be a good option for you. Areas that can be enhanced include your eyebrows, around your eyes on the eyelid and inside the lower lash line. Sometimes pigment is used to create eye shadow too. You can also choose to have permanent lip liner applied; this makes lips look more professionally finished, and thin lips slightly fuller.
How it’s done?
Our medical aestheticians will apply your permanent makeup in a procedure called micropigment implementation. In effect, its similar to doing a tattoo.
Eyes: 24 to 48 hours;
Lips: 3 to 5 days.
Pain is minimal; however, topical anesthesia can be used for maximum comfort, for sensitive skin.
Will it look natural?
Absolutely. It is designed to enhance your own natural beauty and will blend with any makeup style or skin tone.
Are there any side effects?
You may experience some bruising, which resolves over one week. To speed up the healing process, we can recommend the appropriate supplements such as Wobenzyme to be taken orally or topical ointments such as Traumeel to be applied to help decrease bruising.
What does it feel like?
Some describe a prickling sensation. Many experience no discomfort at all. Most agree that the procedure is far more comfortable than anticipated.
How long will it take?
Application time is approximately 1 1/2 hours for eye liner and eye brows; lip color takes a little longer. Reconstructive micropigmentation can take several sessions.
How long will it last?
Indefinitely. However, color may soften over time with the aging process, the environment, your skin type and care of your permanent procedure area.
Your questions, needs and expectations will be discussed during a complimentary consultation, which also includes a review of your medical history, care instructions and a look at before and after’ pictures.
Strict sanitation and sterilization guidelines are follow in accordance with the CDC (Centers for Disease Control) using autoclave sterilization. Single use sterile needles are used with each application.
